Oristano

Oristano (ab. 31.519) è capoluogo di provincia sardo situato nella pianura bonificata che si affaccia sul golfo omonimo.
La cittadina ha il fascino del piccolo centro medievale e, al tempo stesso, l’ aspetto pittoresco tipico di tutti i centri dell’ isola.
È tra i principali centri economici della Sardegna. Infatti i suoi commerci sono assai fiorenti, notevole è la sua attività industriale e salda la base agricola. In particolare nell’ economia della provincia arborese hanno una cospicua importanza la pastorizia e l’ attività manifatturiera ad essa legata. Molto rilevante è anche la pesca.
