Description
An old town that originated in the 12th century, located in the lower Ansei Valley on the shores of the artificial Santa Caterina lake, today it is a popular summer and winter holiday town, famous as a health resort but also for motorboat competitions taking place on the lake and for its new ski facilities.

The lift facilities, located on the northeast slopes of Mount Agudo, reach a maximum elevation of 1585 meters. From this altitude many slopes of varying difficulty take off. We note here the red “Fedo A” and the black “Fedo B.” Interesting cross-country trails depart from the town of San Marco and cover a total of 25 kilometers. The natural bobsled track and the slope for competitive sledding complete the range of offerings for the winter season.
To see, the church of S. Giustina, flanked by a beautiful bell-tower from the 1400’s, and the church of S. Caterina, from the 16th century.
