Description
Village of Val d'Ayas nestled within the medieval tower of the ancient castle and parish church. It is a relatively small but very suggestive ski center, because of the surrounding landscape.

The lifts allow skiers to reach 2487 meters in altitude, in a still-wild landscape, served by a tram and four ski lifts, for a total of 21 km of downhill slopes and 10 km of cross-country slopes. In particular, for cross-country skiers there is a beautiful trail that reaches the Dondena Valley. In summer there are possibilities for excursions going from the villages to the surrounding pine forests and waterfalls. In the center of the town, besides bars, restaurants and ice skating rinks, there is a permanent display of hemp weaving.
