Cadenabbia is an elegant health resort and holiday place in the central basin of Lake Como, looking out over the Bellagio peninsula and 31 km from the town of Como. The eighteenth century Villa Carlotta, containing works by Canova, Thorvaldsen and Hayez, is on the road to Tremezzo.
It is surrounded by a large garden containing a wide range of plant and flower species. One kilometre further on is the well known health resort of Tremezzo which stands on the Tremezzina Riviera, amidst thick, luxuriant vegetation and with a view of the Bellagio promontory and the Grigne hills.
