Description
A summer and winter vacation site, Lavarone is made up of many small towns situated in a green, open high plain between Mount Cimone and the Astico Valley. The ski area, served by 4 chairlifts and 10 ski lifts, includes some 20 slopes of medium to easy difficulty, covering an area of 16 km.

The only demanding one is the black slope "Pez del Prinzep,” reachable with the chairlift Laghetto-Mount Cucco. With a special ski pass, one can reach the facilities of Folgaria, connected to those of Lavarone, and cover a total of over 100 km of slopes. There are excellent possibilities for cross-country skiers, who find here extremely long trails and wide-open fields surrounded by conifer forests. For after-ski there are two skating rinks, one natural and one artificial, two covered pools, handicraft shops, bars, cinemas and discotheques.
To see, a carsistic lake full of fish, allowiing summer swimming and winter skating, and the remains of Hapsburg fortifications from the first world war.
