This holiday place and health resort in the province of Novara stands on the west side of Lake Maggiore overlooking a large part of the lake. It has many fine houses and residences with porticoes and verandahs, set amongst the lush vegetation.
You can visit the Chiesa Vecchia (old church) dating back to the Middle Ages, with a Romanesque bell tower and seventeenth century portico, and the baroque parish church.
