| The Tirreno Hotel is an attractive classical-style first class downtown hotel, completely refurbished in 2006.It is well situated in a quite, safe and silent area in the heart of Ancient Rome which makes it an ideal place for tourists. The Hotel is situated in a historical building since the great fresco’s painter known as “Il Domenichino” was established in these rooms during his Roman period.
Very close to Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, Colosseum and the Archeological site of Roman Forum.The rooms of the Tirreno Hotel are extremely welcoming and equipped with every comfort: all rooms equipped with bath/shower, air conditioning, hairdryer, direct dial telephones(in the room and in the toilette), satellite TV, mini bar and safety box, some with private terrace or overlooking the garden solarium.

Situated 900 metres from the Termini Railway Station in a quiet street beside the Santa Maria Maggiore Church, the Hotel Tirreno is recommended for guests with no particular requirements who want to be able to go to the centre of Rome conveniently (the Cavour tube station is 400 metres away).
The public areas are simple and not particularly large. The breakfast room is very nicely presented.
The bedrooms are simply furnished and quite large, and some have a balcony or private external space. The bathrooms, with bath or shower, have good usability.
The hotel also has an internal courtyard where guests can relax in the summer.
Pay parking in a local garage with which the hotel has an agreement.
