From the Train Station: (15 minutes walking) Cross the bridge and turn to your right. Follow the canal keeping same at your right. You will find another bridge, make few steps and turn to left in “Rio dei Tolentini”. Follow the canal keeping the same up to Follow the canal up to the end keep having the small canal on your right, and you'll reach Fondamenta del Gaffaro that goes on the left.
Follow the fondamenta up to Ponte Marcello (there is a big Hotel front of it: Hotel Sole). Turn right having the bridge on the back, in Fondamenta Malcanton, 50 meters and turn right.
On the left side you'll see a small square, Corte del Gallo, with a small fountain and 2 gates, the one with the 2 lamp and a magnolia tree is the entrance of Locanda Gaffaro |
