| In the enchantment of the coast, between Amalfi and Positano, in an enviable position above the sea, hotel Tritone, "4 stars", assures a very peaceful and comfortable stay. All the rooms provide sea-front, terrace, balcony or glass-window, bath and/or shower, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, air-conditioning. Available also 3 suites and 12 junior suites, as well as apartments. The hotel has been built in the fifties by Professore Giuseppe Gagliano and his wife Marianna Gagliano who still manage it with their sons. In spite of the big number of employees, Tritone preserves a family atmosphere.Tritone's restaurant, called "La cala delle lampare" has, besides the bright inner room, a terrace on the sea which in the evening is completely enlightened by the lampare, typical boats of this coast. The cooking is very refined with clear supremacy of Mediterranean tastes and flavours, with a large choice of fresh fishes and sea-foods, cheeses and local vegetables, and a typical, old and very rich cellar, with a large assortment of prestigious national wines, with a particular attention to the regional ones. The Tritone's services include a wonderful pine-wood, a lemon trees garden, a flowered gardens restaurant, an evocative chapel in a grotto devoted to Holy Mother of Lourdes used for weddings too; two large rooms for parties, a congress room for 130 people, several meeting rooms, two swimming-pools with sea water and hydromassage, private beach reachable by the lift and totally reserved to the guests, with restaurant service, bar and boat excursions to Positano, Amalfi, Grotta dello Smeraldo, Galli's island, Nerano or Capri. Moreover there are reading-rooms, drawing-rooms, American bar and private parking. The seafront breakfast room enjoys the view of Positano and Capri. | By car from the North of Italy or Rome Take the highway “autostrada A1” Rome – Naples: exit at Naples. Be careful, don’t turn to Salerno’s direction. At Naples pay the toll. Take the highway “autostrada A3” Naples – Pompei – Salerno, paying the toll at the entrance. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia, don’t follow absolutely Amalfi’s direction, but continue to Vico Equense, then to Sorrento, Positano, and at last to Praiano. Hotel Tritone is on the road named “S.S. 163 Amalfitana”, 1 km before Praiano, 4 km after Positano. By car from the South of Italy or Puglia From the south, take the highway “autostrada Reggio Calabria – Salerno”: exit at Salerno. From Puglia, take the highway “autostrada Bari – Napoli”, exit at Avellino and then take the freeway Avellino – Salerno. In both cases go on to Vietri sul Mare and then to Amalfi – Praiano – Positano. Hotel Tritone is on the road named “S.S. 163 Amalfitana”, 1 km after Praiano, 4 km before Positano By airplane The nearest airport is the international airport of Naples Capodichino. It is possible to take a taxi or a bus to the Circumvesuviana station, as above. You can reserve a taxi calling the Hotel Tritone. The best way to get to Praiano, is by Taxi transfer also from Fiumicino airport or rail station. From Fiumicino airport in Rome there are non-stop metropolitan trains running every hour from 7.38 until 22.08 that can be used to get to Termini railway station. By train The nearest railway station is Salerno where you can find the SITA bus service to the Amalfi Coast. At the railway station of Naples Centrale, at Piazza Garibaldi, there is the local train Circumvesuviana to Meta di Sorrento and there the bus connection to Praiano. Arriving by airplane or by train it is possible to reserve a taxi directly calling the hotel reception. |

 Ian McIntyre (United Kingdom)Excellent hotel - breathtaking views from restaurant and rooms, very friendly and attentive staff; we enjoyed swimming in the sea from the private jetty and small beach and snacks from the sea level terrace bar. The car parking service was excellent - just drop it and its taken care of. Also enjoyed dining in the hotel several nights - good advice from waiters on sensibly priced wine and the food was good. If returning to the area I would certainly rebook at this hotel. We had an excellent week and returned refreshed. |

| Anonymous (United States) This was the first time I used your reservation service. This was maybe the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. Our regret was we only had 2 nights, and were unable to use all the beautiful facilities. We would love to return to this hotel for a longer stay. |
