| An old farmhouse in the Maremma, the Antico Casale has regained its ancient splendour after the restoration that has transformed it into an elegant and refined hotel with restaurant. The Antico Casale is not far from the old village of Scansano, surrounded by the rolling hills and the liscious vineyards of the Tuscan countryside. Traditionand efficiency. - Every room has a bathroom, telephone, television and mini-bar. In its refined surroundings, the Antico Casale proposes typical dishes of the Maremma cuisine with home-made pasta, bread, wine, grappa, jam and biscuits.The horses are chosen and trained with care by qualified instructors booth for riding in the countryside or in paddocks. The centre is equipped with large stables, saddles and all accessories. During the month of December is stopped every type of reading activity to rebuilding the riding center.
Our resort is also Beauty Center: it includes the covered pool, sauna, turkish bath and hydro massage. We also provide a wide range of treatments.
Children under 16 are not allowed to Beauty Center.

Le camere singole, situate nella parte antica del casale e ristrutturate nel rispetto della tradizione toscana, dispongono di letto a una piazza e mezzo, deliziosa vista sul giardino, bagno privato.
Le camere matrimoniali, rigorosamente ristrutturate, sono arredate con mobili d’epoca e letti in ferro battuto per rivivere le atmosfere degli storici casali toscani, godono di una suggestiva vista sul villaggio medioevale di Scansano, oppure sul giardino.
Le camere matrimoniali con balcone, situate al primo piano del nuovo edificio in pietra, sono ampie, luminose, con accesso diretto dalla terrazza privata, e dispongono di mobili in stile, letto in ferro battuto, vista mozzafiato sulle verdi vallate, terrazza attrezzata con tavolo e sedie, bagno privato.
Le raffinate e confortevoli Suite al piano primo del nuovo edificio in pietra, conservano lo stile del caratteristico agriturismo toscano di qualità e d’eccellenza, sono composte da camera da letto, elegante salotto con caminetto, portafinestra con accesso al terrazzo privato, bagno privato con vasca idromassaggio.

Il Ristorante interno “La Castagneta”, aperto tutto l'anno, offre la cucina tipica toscana, con ricette della tradizione contadina come le bruschette realizzate con l'aglio, i pomodorini, i funghi del territorio o le verdure di stagione, sempre accompagnate dall’olio extravergine di oliva.
Fra gli squisiti piatti la pasta fatta in casa come le tagliatelle, i tagliolini, gli gnocchi, i tortelli con i ripieni di stagione, i brigoli, le pappardelle, le zuppe tipiche al misto di funghi, le minestre di verdure mediterranee, la celebre Acquacotta, l’esclusiva Zuppa del Casale, le carni alla griglia servite sulla piastra, ricchi e sfiziosi piatti a base di cinghiale, coniglio, maialino, agnello.
I menù vegetariani offrono ottime verdure alla griglia, sformati e formaggi.
Lo Chef Leonardo Cortesi prepara squisiti dolci come la panna cotta con crema di frutti di bosco, il tortino con crema pasticcera e i classici tozzetti serviti con il vin santo.
Ad accompagnare i piatti tipici della tradizione, a tavola non potrà mancare il vino più famoso della zona, il rosso e gradevole Morellino di Scansano. |
