By train: Salerno is the nearest railway station (25 km, approximately 55 minutes drive) Naples is the second nearest (70 km, approximately 75 minutes drive) By car: On motorway A3 take junction for Salerno centro. Turn left following signs for Vietri sul Mare and Amalfi, after driving for about 3 km you will be on the famous Amalfi Coast. Once you are in Amalfi you find the hotel in the main square of the town. Approximate journey time from Rome 3 ½ h, Naples 1 ½ h.

Our stay in Amalfi was excellent thanks to the wonderful accommodation at the Fontana. We were delighted with the room and the helpful staff, not to mention the first class surroundings of the hotel and its special place at the centre of Amalfi.

Hotel Fontana in Amalfi has an IDEAL location; couldn't be better!! It's on the beautiful coast-and our balcony view was priceless! It's just across from the bus stop, too, making arrival and departure painless ... The staff is warm, wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Morning breakfast, included in the room fees, was great, with wonderful coffee! Thanks!!
