| On the green hillock of a luxuriant hill, wich was chosen by Cicero and Acticus as their holiday resort offered hospitality to Hannibal army, in one of the most beautiful environmental contexts of the region Campania, the farmholidays "Colleverde" is situated near the XIX century country house, the land owner's house. The farm is known for its delicious wine, and it is in an area with lots of cultivations: olive groves, hazel groves, cherry orchards and other varieties of fruit trees. Dining room with a fireplace, meeting room, TV room, barbecue, are guest disposal. Guests are given the opportunity to buy the farm products, to take part on different rural activities and to go for a ride. It is possible to book both guided and not guided rides. Guests can go on ecological outings on the wonderful mountain ranges of Monte Maggiore which surrounds the farm. Swimming pools and tennis courts are 3 km away.
The "Reggia di Caserta", "Pompei", "Naples", "Ischia", "Capri", "Sorrento" and the "Costiera Amalfitana" can be easily reached from this farm. Guests can both soak the wonderful relaxing atmosphere close to nature in the shade of age-old oak trees surrounding the big park and can enjoy the beauties of our contry. This piece of our country is made a sort of heaven also by the host family presence. The farm has parking lots for cars and coaches. |

Colleverde is reachable from Caserta in the following ways:
1)From Caserta: take for Caiazzo - Saint Leucio and, after the reduction called "Gradilli" turn for Capua - S. Angelo in Formis.
Then continue for 3 Km until the "Ponte di Annibale" and then turn to the right. |

E' un posto gradevole, confortevole immerso in un'oasi di pace dove la natura diventa cornice di tranquillità e relax. Peccato che non sia stato possibile utilizzare il servizio ristorazione e la piscina perchè al momento inattivi. In definitiva il commento è molto positivo. E' molto probabile che in futuro saremo nuovamente ospiti della struttura. Grazie.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. We were looking for something basic and clean as we were visiting family out there, and we got what we were looking for. We were made to feel very welcome and they couldn't have been more helpful with places to go and see. The room was spotless and clean and waking up to the Italian hills was exactly what the Doctor ordered!!!

This hotel was just what we wanted, small, in beautiful countryside and the perfect antithesis to Naples. The family could not have been friendlier. They added us to their evening meal at the last minute, we bought their own farm produce which was not pushed on us at all and personal help and advice about the area made our stay even better than we hoped. The rooms are very clean, if a bit basic, the views from the windows calming and soothing. Basic self catering is a possibility... but why would you want to? A special effort was made for my husband who is a vegitarian despite the disbelief that anyone would not want to eat their meat! PS go to the Reggia... it blue my mind, not at all like Rough Guide described.
