The Mastino hotel is the perfect place for people with exacting tastes whose love for art, history and culture has led them to look for only the most comfortable and luxurious places to stay during their visit. Located inside an old historical building that has just been renovated, our rooms all have private bath with either a shower or a Jacuzzi bathtub.
We take extra steps to make sure you enjoy your stay. Each room has high quality accessories and comforts. Courtesy items are biological and non-allergenic and made with essential oils. The towels are made with an innovative new fiber which makes them not only hypoallergenic, but extra soft as well! Each room also has a satellite color TV, minibar, safe deposit box and individually adjustable air conditioning/heating unit.
Our restoration efforts were concentrated on both beauty and comfort – the halls, corridors and common rooms all have marble or local stone floors. Rooms may have hardwood floors made of soundproof and fireproof materials, or stain-resistant carpeting that is non-allergic and antibacterial.

To reach the Mastino hotel by car, take the Verona Sud motorway exit and follow the directions to the center. Go straight ahead and just as you are approaching the square Piazza Bra – where the Roman amphitheater 'Arena di Verona', home to world famous opera performances, is located – the hotel will be on your left. The hotel makes parking in the center easy by offering its guests spacious private garages to park their cars.
If you are coming by train, the Porta Nuova train station is less than 1 km from the hotel. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station (follow the bike path that starts from the exit on the right side of the station). Or from the station you can catch the bus that stops at sidewalk #1; it goes to the center and makes only two stops along the way. There is also an efficient taxi service that will bring you directly to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. If you are coming by plane, the Valerio Catullo di Villafranca airport is located 11 km from the city – you can take the shuttle bus ('Aero-bus', cost 4,50 €, passes every 20 min.) from the airport to the Porta Nuova station. From there, use one of the methods of transport mentioned above.
