| A pleasant climate, a 400 hectares pine forest and the blue Sardinian sea form the amazing framework of the Ala Birdi Holiday resort. Open all throughout the year, 3 km away from Arborea, 16 km from Oristano and 100 km from the main regional airports, it is easily reachable.
Rooms are equipped with all the comforts and you can choose a 4 stars accommodation or a bungalow immersed in the freedom and tranquillity of the pine forest.
During the summer season you can enjoy and have fun with our exuberant international animation staff with its entertaining night shows and daily activities on the beach.
The Resort includes some Hotels:
Hotel Castello: 58 spacious rooms, almost all with balcony, with private bathroom/shower, direct telephone, TV, air conditioning and mini bar. You will find the reception of the Ala Birdi Resort in a spacious Hall. Moreover the hotel includes the “Mirtillo” Bar (open in low season) with the beautiful terrace on the pool and the main Congress Room (Ribot) with ca 400 places.
Hotel Ribot: 124 rooms all with balcony or patio, furnished with typical Sardinian furniture, with private bathroom, direct telephone, sat TV, Safe, air conditioning, and mini bar. The Hotel has the original shape of a horseshoe, in honour of the prestigious Ala Birdi Riding Center nearby the “Tropicana” pool.
Hotel Medar: 101 rooms all with balcony or patio, furnished with typical Sardinian furnitures. At your choice Junior Suites or communicating rooms, with private bathroom, direct telephone, sat TV, safe, air conditioning and mini bar. With his original horseshoe shape in honour of the prestigious Ala Birdi Riding Center which is located at the entrance of the complex surrounded by the famous Arborea pine forest.
Bungalows: Immersed in a charming pine forest next to the beach, our 58 bungalows are divided in studios (one room apartments) and two rooms apartments, completely renovated in 2007 and all with private bathroom, direct telephone, sat TV, safe, air conditioning and mini bar. This accommodation offers you a quite holiday immersed in the beautiful surrounding nature. Great for children! |

Restaurant “Il Fasolare” (open during the high season): Located in the main area of the resort. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Open during the high season. Two wide rooms and one with buffet.
Restaurant “L’Aragosta” (open during the low season): Located adjacent the restaurant "Il Fasolare" it offers local and international cuisine in an elegant and refined setting. It is ideal for business dinners and refined or romantic evenings. Open in the low season.
Restaurant “Barbecue” (open during the high season): Perfect for lunch or dinner on the beach. Sporty and informal during the day, at night it turns in a romantic corner with live music.
LUNCH: Lunch included in the full board, for clients in half board or bed & breakfast lunch on payment, no reservation requested, service at the table.
DINNER: Dinner with supplement and reservation for clients in half and full board, with reservation and against payment for bed & breakfast guests. Typical Sardinian dinner with the famous “porceddu”, or a special fish dinner. Service at the table.
Pizzeria “Don Custer” (open during the high season): The Pizzeria is situated on a beautiful terrace overlooking the gardens and the swimming pool. It works with reservation for clients in half & full board, against payment and reservation for bed & breakfast clients.
Water and wine are included in the service. Moreover if you desire it you can choose your favourite wine within a selection of typical Sardinian and international wines.
“TEX MEX” Restaurant (opening May): The fascinating atmosphere of a real Western Village.. an unbelievable setting, in few minutes you will be transported back in the past. A magic atmosphere will surround you special dinner or lunch, with the delicious and original Mexican cusine. With extra charge for all the clients. |
