The Relais Borgo di Pietrafitta is in the heart of Chianti, in the most beautiful part of Tuscany, between Siena and Florence. In a very 360° panoramic position, with vineyards, olive trees, oaks and chestnut trees forrest all around. |

| Nowadays, the Borgo di Pietrafitta has been completely recycled and restored in order to welcome travelers eager to soak in the reassuring charm of tradition while enjoying rooms that have character and offer the most modern amenities. The apartments of the Relais are housed within these structures and have been carefully designed to ensure the privacy of clients. In addition there is a reception, a small meeting room (max. 30 people), and also a cellar. In the midst of the green and taking advantage of the panoramic view over the deer reserve and the hills of Chianti, you will find the pool with skimmer, with the added bonus of umbrellas, and lounge chairs to enjoy very pleasant and quiet moments. For times when you want to mingle with other guests, the barbecue area is the ideal place; it comes with a grill, equipment and tables to share the grilled food. BY PLANE: Relais Borgo di Pietrafitta is 47 km from Florence Airport Amerigo Vespucci. We suggest that clients rent a car to conveniently reach Borgo di Pietrafitta. On the way guests can enjoy the splendid view of the Tuscan hills (50-minute trip). From the airport take Highway A1 towards Rome. Exit at Firenze Certosa and continue as described in paragraph "By car - from the North". BY TRAIN: Once you arrive at Firenze Santa Maria Novella, take a train going to Siena. From here continue with a taxi, the trip will take 20 minutes. BY CAR: rom the North: when you get to Florence, by taking highway A1 towards Rome, exit at Firenze Certosa and take the highway junction Firenze-Siena. Exit on San Donato in Poggio, turn left towards Castellina in Chianti, by taking the SP 101 for 13 km. Once you are in Castellina, at the first intersection turn left and take SR 222 towards Greve in Chianti. After about 4 km you will find directions for Borgo di Pietrafitta on your right. From the south: Get off highway A1 by exiting on Bettolle/Siena/Valdichiana, Take the highway junction towards Siena and continue along the ring road towards Florence, exiting at Siena nord. Follow directions to Castellina in Chianti, taking the very famous and panoramic Via Chiantigiana (SR222). When you get to Castellina, continue towards Greve in Chianti for about 4 km where you will find directions for Borgo di Pietrafitta on your right. |
