| From 1987 onwards the Hotel Fortunella has been receiving all its guests in an atmosphere of exclusive high quality hospitality and of great hotel tradition.
Through the years the Sorrentino family has been able to conceive and create a typical italian style hotel by giving an interpretation of Mediterranean art and the corresponding way of living. A short walk from shops with famous names, and the beautiful, sandy beach sloping gently into the sea. The hotel has been made and opened in June 1997, after a careful renovation, even more attractive by the use of the most up-to-date technology.
For guests who do not desire to go to the beach, they have the choise to stay in private or read in an atmosphere of total relaxation in the garden or on the roof-garden. The Hotel has a parking. You can hire (free of charge) one of our bikes instead, and rediscover a more human way of getting around.
The Hotel provides to its guests the new service "Hot Spot", based on Wi-Fi technology. All our guests can use their own laptops to easily access high speed internet. With their laptops, equipped with a proper and compatible wi-fi device (Mac equipped with Airport device is also supported), they will be available to register in an easy and fast way and access internet at high speed or at the Reception are for sale Pre-payed cards with different connection periods. |

Lucca is just 25 km away with the unique city walls in Italy surrounding the historic centre of a length of 4200 m. On the walls it is possible to walk or to go by bike (to be rented in the centre) and admire from there on the one side the architectural beauty of the town and on the other the hills around, dotted with villas. Pisa, 28 km away with the leaning tower as world wide symbol does not only have to offer the tower, but also a charming centre as well as a beautiful countryside and a Nature Reserve that are worth seeing. |

You can rent a car in the airport of Florence, Rome, Milan or Pisa by Maggiore Rent-a-Car, Herz or another one of your choice. Then Follow these instructions:
By car from Florence: Enter the A11 toll Motorway direction A1 E76 Pistoia/Prato, after that follow the signs A12 Genova/Viareggio. Exit at "Viareggio" and proceed in direction Lido di Camaiore. Without leaving the main road, you continue in that direction. After about 2 km (1.24 mi) you will find an "Api" gas station on the left (the only one there is), continue for about 30 meters (0.018 mi) and Turn Left at the roundabout. Go ahead on this road and pass the first traffic light till you find on the left hand side the Hotel Fortunella. You are arrived!
By car from Rome: Take the A1 toll Motorway direction "Florence". After the last exit to Florence take the toll Motorway A12 Genova/Viareggio. Exit at "Viareggio" and proceed in direction Lido di Camaiore. Without leaving the main road, you continue in that direction. After about 2 km (1.24 mi) you will find an "Api" gas station on the left (the only one there is), continue for about 30 meters (0.018 mi) and Turn Left at the roundabout. By car from Milan: Take the A1 E35 toll highway direction "Bologna-Florence". First Follow the sign A15 direction La Spezia/Parma Ovest, secondly follow the signs A12 Genova/Livorno direction Livorno and exit at "Versilia" and proceed in direction for the exit of the Motorway. When you are stopped by the crossroad go ahead and after 30 meters (0.018 mi) turn left. Continue for about 5 Km (3.10 mi) (Go ahead on this road) on this street till the end (by the way you will find 2 roundabouts). Then turn right continue for about 2 km (1.24 mi) and Turn Right at the second roundabout. Go ahead on this road and pass the first traffic light till you find on the left hand side the Hotel Fortunella. You are arrived!
