| This small Tuscan village could only be called Poderi Arcangelo. It is located on the slope of a hill that offers an enchanting panorama. From the vineyards to the olive groves of the organic estate surrounding the Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo produce famous wines such as: DOCG Chianti of the Siena hills, the Vernaccia DOCG, the Vinsanto DOC and extra-virgin olive oil.
In a 500 meter area are four independent residences, the main house (Casa Capezzano) welcoming guests to Poderi Arcangelo with a reception area, product sales area, wine cellars and restaurant with a terrace overlooking a breathtaking view of the hills. The three pools with beautiful views near structures hosting rooms and apartments, are the place to enjoy the most peaceful of vacations in the agritourism area near San Gimignano.

Areas served: From the Siena agritourism area, at a distance of 35 kilometers, Florence 65; Certaldo 3 kilometers, San Gimignano 8 and Volterra 35 just to mention the best-known cities, but also not to be missed, in an agritourism vacation in Chianti, are the charming medieval towns such as Vinci, Colle Val d'Elsa and Monteriggioni, approximately twenty kilometers from Poderi Arcangelo.
The hot springs, Terme di Gambassi at 7 kilometers, also offer the opportunity to try thermal cures and fitness and esthetic treatments with the renowned water, Acqua di Pillo, at the thermal center of Gambassi, while at only 5 kilometers from Poderi Arcangelo there is a newly-opened fitness center.
Il Chianti is especially its hills and nature to enjoy with numerous hiking trails, on foot, horseback or mountain bike to discover the true Tuscany. |

• By air •
The airport of Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" is the closest to the Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, at 75 kilometers, while the airport of Pisa "Galileo Galilei" is at 70 kilometers. From both airports the best way to get here is by car.
From the airport of Florence take A1 towards Rome and exit to Florence Certosa. From here, continue as in the point By car/ From the north / Certaldo.
From the airport of Pisa take Strada di Grande Comunicazione Florence - Pisa - Livorno to the Empoli Ovest exit and follow the directions per Castelfiorentino then for Certaldo. From here, continue as in the point By car/ From the north / Certaldo.
• By train •
The station closest to the Agritourism area is that of Certaldo (Florence – Siena line). From here to Capezzano are 3 kilometers. We recommend taking a taxi to Poderi Arcangelo.
• By car •
From the north. From highway A1, exit to Florence Certosa and take the Florence – Siena superhighway. Exit to Poggibonsi Nord and continue toward Empoli – Certaldo (SS 429). On arriving in Certaldo continue to San Gimignano for approximately 3 km until you see our signs, Capezzano - Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, where you will turn to the left and climb to the highest point of the hill.
From the south. From the highway A1 exit to the svincolo Valdichiana, and take the superhighway Siena – Bettolle, to Siena dove, without leaving the superhighway continue towards Florence to exit to Poggibonsi north. Continue to Empoli - Certaldo along Strada Statale 429. Once in Certaldo, continue toward San Gimignano for 3 km, then turn to the left to Capezzano and follow the directional signs to Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo. We are at the summit of the hill.
