From Florence to Voltrona it's about one and a half hour by car. From the highway A1 from Florence you take the exit Firenze-Certosa, take the superstrada to Siena. Exit Poggibonsi Nord, follow the signs to San Gimignano. From the south you drive on the highway A1, take exit Valdichiana, follow signs to Siena. In Siena you will take the "superstrada" to Florence and from that exit Poggiponsi nord. Follow indications for San Gimignano. When you come to San Gimignano there is a roundabout and there you follow the signs for Volterra. After about 4,0 km on your left you will find a sign "Voltrona 1,6 km", turn left and continue follow the signs to Voltrona Agriturismo, it's about 1,5 km on a gravelled road from the mainroad to Voltrona. |
