Important noble families owned and lived in the Castle during the centuries; the latest is the Alcini Family, who now owns the Castle. Rooms and suites are named after the names of those families, giving the rooms and halls the charm of a glorious past without giving up all the modern comforts.

FROM NORTH: Highway A1 Firenze Roma, exit Orte and continue along E45 direction Terni. After about 20 km, take E45 Perugia-Cesena. After 20 km exit Massa Martana and follow directions to Massa Martana (go straight). After 1,5 miles turn left following directions to Villa San Faustino and Castello di Montignano. Continue 1,5 miles following directions Castello di Montignano, parking.
FROM SOUTH: A1 Firenze Roma, exit Valdichiana-Bettolle and continue along Perugia A1 for 45 km, then take E45 SS3bis direction A1 Roma Terni. After 45 km exit Massa Martana and follow directions to Massa Martana (go straight). After 1,5 miles turn left following directions to Villa San Faustino and Castello di Montignano. Continue 1,5 miles following directions Castello di Montignano, parking.
