The farm “Il Santo”, once property of the Hospital “Santa Maria della Scala”, covers an area of about 1300 hectares where past and present mingle and let those who come here escape from the everyday reality and dive into a quiet rich sound. La Tenuta il Santo, un tempo antica grancia dello Spedale Santa Maria della Scala, si estende su un territorio di 1300 ha, dove passato e presente si mescolano permettendo a coloro che la visitano, di evadere dalla realtà quotidiana, immergendosi in una tranquillità ricca di suoni. Oltre al Borgo del Santo, centro vitale dell’antica Fattoria, vi sono numerosi Poderi, di cui cinque già ristrutturati ed adibiti ad uso turistico, arredati con mobili d’epoca in stile toscano, che si affacciano sull’alternarsi di colli e verdi distese di prati. Questo mirabile paesaggio è incorniciato dal corso del torrente Farma e dal fiume Merse, dove vanno ad abbeverarsi animali selvatici come: cinghiali, daini, volpi,istrici, caprioli. Nel Borgo si trova la chiesa dei Santi Filippo e Giacomo dove si celebra la Santa Messa, in un contesto di favolosa realtà…..
